Precision Machining and Post-Processing of Hardware Parts: Nitriding, Anodizing, Sandblasting, and Electrocoating

The processing of metal parts does not end with CNC cutting. The post-processing technology determines the corrosion resistance, surface hardness, and appearance of the parts. Dongguan Yiruida Technology Co., Ltd. provides comprehensive metal processing and post-processing services from aluminum alloys to stainless steel and magnesium alloys, meeting the strict requirements of industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical.

Processable Metal Materials

  • Aluminum Alloy (6061, 7075, 5052)
  • Stainless Steel (304, 316L)
  • Magnesium Alloy, Brass, Copper
  • High-Strength Steel S550MC

Detailed Explanation of Post-Processing Technology

1. Anodizing

  • Applies only to aluminum alloys.
  • Increases surface hardness (up to HV300 or higher) and improves corrosion resistance.
  • Available colors: natural color, black, red, blue, etc.
  • Sandblasting + Anodizing: First sandblast to remove tool marks, then anodize to achieve a matte texture.

2. Nitriding

  • Applies to stainless steel and alloy steel.
  • Forms a hardened layer on the part surface (HV800-1200), improving wear resistance.
  • Suitable for gears, shafts, and mold parts.

3. Electrocoating + Powder Coating

  • Electrocoating: Uniform coverage, excellent rust prevention, usually black.
  • Powder Coating: Thick coating, impact resistance, rich colors.
  • Suitable for structural parts such as S550MC, like car chassis components.

4. Sandblasting

  • Removes oxide scale and tool marks, achieving a uniform matte surface.
  • Can be used as pretreatment for anodizing or electrocoating.

5. Natural Finish

  • Maintains the original metal color, only deburring and cleaning are done.

Typical Application Cases

  • Aerospace Bracket: 7075 Aluminum Alloy CNC Machining + Sandblasting + Hard Anodizing
  • Medical Surgical Instruments: Stainless Steel CNC Machining + Nitriding + Polishing
  • Automotive Suspension Parts: S550MC Stamping + Electrocoating + Powder Coating
